Tips for booking a hotel online
alt Booking a hotel online can be as straightforward as 1-2-3! There are plenty of sites to choose between like Orbitz, Expedia, Hotels.com, solely to name a couple. These sites are awfully user friendly.Just type in what town you would like and the dates you'll be there and hit search. Next you'll see a catalogue of different hotels / motels all at assorted costs.

You select which hotel you need, select it, enter in your private info with a card and you are booked! It is as simple as that! If you're booking at a "big brand " hotel, you may also go to their site online and book your hotel there.Often the hotel sites supply a discount if you book online, so be certain to check that out too. However my personal motto is "Never pay full price for a hotel room". There are more sites ( Priceline and Hotwire ) which will give you fantastic deals on rooms. There are one or two downsides though . Allow me to explain. Unlike the other sites where you can pick a certain hotel, you cannot with Priceline or Hotwire. You log into their system and make sure they know what town you'll be visiting and what dates. You choose what level of "stars " ( i.e. Two star, three star hotels ) and what area of the town you would like and you name your price and put in your private and Visa card info. Then they search. Occasionally you are fortunate, infrequently your not. You will have to pick another part of city and raise your price a bit, but you may still be ready to book a room at a serious discount. Once accepted, the room is paid for. Print out your bill and you are good to go. I've had some great luck with Priceline. Once in Seattle, I would have liked a four star hotel near the airfield. used Priceline and paid $40 for the night. When I called my travel agent and asked her how much she could get me a room for at that very same hotel ( with my discounts ), she told me the least expensive room was $110. I saved $70. When my boy got married, my mum and I flew into Pittsburgh and spent the evening before driving down to his marriage the day after.

I used Priceline and paid $50 for the night. That room would have usually cost me over $100 a night.Just this past summer, my man and I went to St Louis to a family reunion. We used Priceline to get a hotel downtown and we lucked out! We were given a 4 star hotel with a room facing the Arch for cents on the buck ( fortunately there wasn't any ballgame that weekend or we couldn't have got a room so inexpensive ). I have not had a bad experience or problem booking a room using Priceline. y rooms have invariably been terribly clean, extremely nice and xtraordinarilyaffordable! If you're not fussy about what hotel you stay in, I might highly suggest using sites like Priceline and Hotwire. You will not get to remain in the precise hotel you need, but you'll get something close.
